One of the main objectives of the new Caldew.org.uk website is to promote businesses throughout the River Caldew catchment area. The businesses listed here all advertise with one or other of the group websites.

Advertising on this, or any of our group websites, is easy. You can download a pdf document describing the advertising options on Caldew.org.uk or Dalston.org.uk. One of the most successful advertising campaigns being offered on these community websites is the Sponsor of the Month. This can be for any period, in multiples of whole weeks, and lasting not longer than 6 weeks. The sponsor is normally given a prominent position on the Home and Business pages of the appropriate group website. The sponsor will normally run a competition, draw or special offer. So far these have been very successful, with each of the participating businesses gaining significant additional trade.

Webcards are normally purchased for placement on the appropriate group website. However, for the foreseeable future, both webcards (enhanced and super-enhanced) and Sponsor of the Month features will appear on the group site and Caldew.org.uk.
