Gateway Software, the providers of the very popular Dalston website, have launched a new umbrella website covering the catchment area of the River Caldew in Cumbria.
This website will incorporate the community websites of Denton Holme, Cummersdale, Dalston, Sebergham, Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket. These community websites provide a forum for local people, providing news, diaries, events, business information and advertising.
From the Caldew site you will be able to access any of the other community sites. Business users will enjoy the benefits of an increased audience, stretching from Carlisle in the north to the Northern Fells in the south.
The sites will make use of Google maps to provide links to advertisers and places of interest in the area.
It is hoped to make these sites as interactive as possible, allowing you the user to contribute news, diary events, photographs, details or organisations etc. User entry will gradually be introduced, so keep checking back to see what is new.
